Valeo Foods Group Retains EcoVadis Platinum Medal

Valeo Foods Group Retains EcoVadis Platinum Medal

Valeo Foods Group is proud to have retained our EcoVadis Platinum Medal, improving our score on all sustainability themes and maintaining our position amongst the top 1% of companies assessed globally for sustainability.

EcoVadis is one of the world's leading and most trusted sustainability ratings providers, evaluating companies across four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The Platinum rating recognises organisations that demonstrate strong sustainability management systems, governance, policies, actions and reporting practices.

This achievement reflects our commitment to embedding sustainability into our business strategy and creating long-term value for our stakeholders. Through our sustainability framework, centred around our five pillars: Planet, People, Producers, Partners and Products, we continue to integrate sustainability into how we operate, grow and innovate across our business.

EcoVadis evaluates companies across four key sustainability themes:
  • Environment – including climate action, energy management, emissions reduction, waste management and water stewardship.
  • Labour & Human Rights – covering employee wellbeing, health & safety, diversity and inclusion, training and development, and human rights protections.
  • Ethics – including business conduct, anti-corruption measures, transparency, governance and accountability.
  • Sustainable Procurement – assessing responsible sourcing practices, supplier engagement, human rights due diligence and supply chain sustainability management.
Over the past year, Valeo Foods Group has continued to strengthen its sustainability programme across all four assessment areas. We are particularly proud of the progress made in governance, transparency and reporting. These milestones have further strengthened our approach to sustainability management and disclosure whilst supporting alignment with evolving stakeholder and regulatory expectations.

We have also continued to advance our climate and resource efficiency programmes, strengthen employee wellbeing and safety initiatives, expand responsible sourcing activities and further embed ethical and sustainable business practices across our operations and supply chain.
