Valeo Foods has today released its 2026 Sustainability Report, outlining continued progress against key sustainability priorities and long-term commitments

The report highlights how sustainability is embedded across the business and remains a core driver of long-term value creation, guiding investment, operations and decision-making across Valeo Foods Group.

Structured around Valeo Foods’ five sustainability pillars: Planet, People, Producers, Partners and Products, the report showcases measurable progress achieved over the past year, including:

Our Planet:
  • A 25% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions, supported by continued investment in energy efficiency. 77% of electricity used across manufacturing sites now comes from renewable sources.
Our People:
  • A continued focus on wellbeing, safety and engagement across the organisation with participation in our annual survey at 77%, 8% higher than industry standard, and significant year-on-year growth for wellbeing and assistance programmes accessible to all colleagues
Our Producers:
  • Progress continues on responsible sourcing commitments, including 100% traceable direct palm oil and ongoing transitions toward deforestation‑free cocoa and coffee.
Our Partners:
  • Significantly expanding our community impact, donating nearly 600 tonnes of food to support communities and tackle food insecurity and reducing food waste by 23%.
Our Products:
  • Advancing more responsible product design, with 1/4  of products now offering healthier attributes and ongoing progress in sustainable packaging, including reduced plastic and packaging use.
This year’s achievements reflect a strong focus on efficiency, safety and environmental performance.

Commenting on the report, Ronald Kers, Group CEO of Valeo Foods, said: “Our 2026 Sustainability Report reflects the meaningful progress we are making as we continue to embed sustainability into every aspect of our business. From reducing carbon emissions and advancing responsible sourcing, to supporting our people and communities, we continue to commit to delivering positive impact alongside sustainable growth. While we are proud of the progress achieved this year, we recognise that sustainability is a continuous journey. We remain focused on building a resilient, future‑ready organisation that creates long-term value for our stakeholders, while making a positive contribution to people and the planet.”
